Role and Responsibilities:
- Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering radioisotopes
- Maintain and calibrate radioisotope and laboratory equipment
- Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and confidentiality
- Flexibly take on additional responsibilities as needed
- Follow all state regulations and maintain department QA procedures and documentation
- Assist with training and educating new staff members and students
- Maintain required credentials and CE credits essential to the position
- Certification: NMTCB or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine
- Licensure: NYS Department of Health license in NM, DX, or CT
- Education: Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine or graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine certificate program
- Experience: Experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Preferred Skills: EPIC experience is a plus
