Overview:
American Airlines is a commercial airline providing passenger and cargo transportation throughout North America, Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. Responsibilities
- Maintain vendor relationships
- Act as a business analyst for IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level
- Maintain all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget
Qualifications
Candidate Profile:
- Authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Available to commit to a full-time schedule
Additional Requirements:
Required:
- Two years experience required Responsibility level
- Ability to exercise minimal independent judgment with direction from supervisor Skills of Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one?s time (Required)
- Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models (Preferred)
- Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc (Preferred) Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
- Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs
- Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared
Preferred:
- One year of General IT experience
- Incident/Crisis Management experience
- ITSM experience
