WorkForce Software is seeking a Knowledge Manager to join a remote team building the Community and managing the strategy, structure and stewardship of internal knowledge ecosystem. This individual will manage how to store, organize, and retrieve knowledge. The right candidate will manage access and compliance for the Community and ensure seamless experience for those seeking solutions. Responsibilities
- Design and manage a scalable knowledge management framework, including governance, taxonomy, templates, and content standards.
- Partner with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to capture, validate, and organize knowledge that aligns with user needs.
- Oversee the content lifecyclepublishing, maintaining, and archiving knowledge across internal platforms like intranets or knowledge bases.
- Understand and address audience needs through user research, personas, and feedback to ensure knowledge is accessible, relevant, and actionable.
- Adapt and structure content to support different roles and learning styles, using insights from usage data and workflow analysis to drive continuous improvement.
- Champion knowledge-sharing practices through training, stakeholder engagement, and on going support to encourage adoption across the organization.
- Identify and close knowledge gaps by developing targeted content plans and leveraging team insights.
- Implement and maintain KM tools and systems, such as: Confluence, Gainsight, ClickUp, Guru, Docebo, Slack, and SharePoint.
- Define and uphold content quality standards, while leveraging analytics to measure impact and inform enhancements.
- Create content strategy assets, including tagging systems, playbooks, and editorial workflows for scalable knowledge development.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration by promoting knowledge-sharing behaviors and recognizing contributions.
Requirements
- 3 years in knowledge management, content strategy, information management, and/or learning design.
- Strong understanding of knowledge management systems
- Familiarity with taxonomy and metadata design to improve search and organization.
- Proficiency in content lifecycle management, version control, and governance.
- Solid skills in writing, editing, and content structuring.
- Ability to analyze data on usage, identify gaps, and improve content accordingly.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills bridging SMEs, end-users, and leadership.
- Strategic thinking with a knack for identifying knowledge-sharing opportunities.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Change advocate able to influence adoption of knowledge-sharing behaviors and tools.
- Detail-oriented but able to see the big picture in how knowledge impacts workflows and goals
Education
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Travel
- Max 20%. Mostly domestic but international may also be required.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience.
