Workforce Solutions Borderplex is one of 28 public workforce development boards in Texas serving the six-county Borderplex region.

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
Ensure successful implementation events by providing hands-on support and helping with day-of activities effectively. Create a welcoming and positive environment for individuals, addressing their needs and ensuring they feel valued and engaged throughout the event. Serve as a point of contact for participants, delivering clear instructions and timely information to enhance event flow and participant satisfaction. Collaborate closely with the Volunteer Events Coordinator to facilitate smooth operations, from setup to cleanup, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
Role and Responsibilities
Depending on organizational needs, may :
- Setup Tables, chairs, event layout
- Welcome and check in individuals at the events
- Handout promotional items or other items to participants.
- Guide individuals to certain areas or workshops
- Answer questions about the event
- Ensure employers or participants of the event have all necessary supplies and resources
- Maintaining a Positive Atmosphere : Encouraging a welcoming environment and assisting with any issues that arise during the event.
- If food is provided, help to manage the refreshment area, ensuring it's stocked and tidy.
- Encouraging attendees to connect and network, possibly facilitating introductions between job seekers and employers.
- Tear down and clean up the event after it is over
- Support staff with an additional day of event duties that may arise
Experience and Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent GED, 18 years of age and older
