What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Clerk (OSY,Adult) position at Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend?
*This is a Work Experience (work-based learning) position available through Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is determined.
Schedules patient visits according to physician orders and coordinates assignment of available staff under the direction of the Clinical Manager.
Schedules and dispatches direct care employees.
Notifies employees of patient cancellations on a timely basis and makes every effort to reschedule employee to new assignment.
Communicates weekly with employees to ascertain availability.
Confers with the nursing supervisor to fill staffing requests with qualified personnel.
Communicates effectively with patients on a regular basis as needed for scheduling issues.
Speaks English and Spanish to be able to communicate with patients.
Must have basic computer skills. High School or Equivalent is preferred but not required.
