JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Trainee to join our team. The Physical Therapy Trainee will assist Physical Therapists in providing patient care, perform therapeutic exercises, set up equipment, and maintain accurate and detailed patient records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physical therapy techniques, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment programs for patients.
- Perform therapeutic exercises and functional activities with patients under the direction of a physical therapist.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment for patient use.
- Safely transfer and transport patients as needed.
- Follow protocols for infection control and patient safety.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with physical therapists and other healthcare team members.
- Provide support and assistance to patients throughout their therapy sessions.
- Assist in monitoring and ordering supplies and equipment for the department.
