Material Handler

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our warehouse and production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the movement, storage, and organization of materials and products, ensuring that they are handled safely and efficiently throughout the production process. Responsibilities:

-Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing lists.
-Safely move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling.
-Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with periodic inventory audits. -Organize and store materials in a manner that optimizes space and ensures easy access.
-Prepare and package materials for shipment, ensuring they meet quality standards.
-Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and sanitation protocols.
-Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability for production needs.
-Follow all safety guidelines and company policies while operating equipment and handling materials.

Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications (e.g., forklift operation) are a plus.
-Previous experience in material handling, warehousing, or manufacturing preferred.
-Basic understanding of inventory management and storage procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
-Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.10 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
