Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machines and equipment to produce high-quality products while ensuring safety and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of machinery, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Location: Doswell, VA
Shifts: train on 1st then switch to 3rd shift - Monday- Friday 11pm-7am
Pay Rate: $18/hr - $19/hr
Duties:
- Operate and monitor die cutting machines, presses, and rewinders to ensure efficient production.
- Set up and adjust machines according to specifications and production requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment as needed to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet company standards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Record production data and complete required documentation.
Skills
- Previous experience operating die cutting machines, presses, and/or rewinders (minimum [insert experience, e.g., 1-2 years]).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical instructions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic math skills and ability to measure accurately using standard tools.
