Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated Utility Operators to join our team in a climate-controlled warehouse environment. This role is ideal for individuals with forklift, machine operating, and manufacturing experience who are looking to grow their careers in a dynamic setting.
Location: Colonial Heights, VA
Pay rate: $19.46 then pay increase after training
Shift Hours: Rotating 11pm-7am or 7am-3pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain automatic balers, rewinders, and slitters.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a loud environment.
- Must provide and wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere with a significant amount of downtime.
- Three 30-minute breaks throughout the shift.
