Packaging Associate
- $16.00 per hour
- 12-hour shift on a 2-2-3 schedule, 5:50 AM - 6:00 PM
Summary:
- Manually finishes Thermal Transfer Ribbons (TTR) to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work on one packaging station to finish and pack TTR
- Carry and supply materials to the machines.
- Packaging associates move through the following operations on a regular basis: Slitting and splicing ribbons and attaching take up core. Banding and packaging TTR and hand packaging rolls in a carton and a box Supervisors will determine the machine each operator is assigned to. Operators will be cross trained to operate different machines.
- Assist with training employees and temporary workers Help train other machine operators
- Operate production machines and complete all required duties
- Recommend productivity improvement plans and cost reduction plans (Total Productive Maintenance activity). Investigate and analyze causes of target frustration.
- Facilitate internal communication and working relationships within areas of responsibility
- Any additional duties that may be assigned
Warehouse Associate
- Payrate: $17.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
What will you be doing?
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping & receiving, storage & retrieval, unloading & loading trucks, picking & fulfilling orders & warehouse cleanliness.

Coating Technician
- Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
- Schedule: 2-2-3 Shifts, 5:30 PM – 6:15 AM (Must be able to train on Daylight, 5:30 AM – 6:15 PM)
What will you be doing?
- Operate a coating machine and produce the correctly coated ink ribbon.
- Load new rolls onto the machine
- Measuring and mixing chemicals always Keeping adequate amounts of mixing materials in the mixing area
- Operate production machines according to the appropriate “machine operator’s manual” under the direction of the Group Leader and Technical staff.
- Perform product changeovers to the coating machine. Activities not limited to roll exchanges, roll cleaning, doctor blade exchanges, threading, filter changes, parts cleaning, and material handling.
- Sampling jumbo rolls and performing required testing and recording findings
- Palletize rolls when necessary
- Labeling jumbo rolls and moving to the storage rack
- Coordinate activities with maintenance, operation, management, and others as necessary
- Troubleshoot basic equipment and process problems
- Charge ink raw materials and organic solvents into an ink production device in a measured & controlled manner thus producing a coat-able solution per established specification.
- Lead in basic maintenance activities by having input and explanations to what needs to be done. Assist where possible, making sure activities are scheduled and completed in a timely manner.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED; or related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
- Packaging or assembly experience preferred
- The ability to read and interpret job orders, specifications, and production schedules.
- Must be able to enter data into computerized ERP system and manual work orders.
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reasoning ability – the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to work independently and take appropriate corrective action when minor problems arise.
Maintenance Technician
- Pay Rate: $23.50 - $24.50 per hour
- Schedule: 2-2-3 Shifts, 5:30 PM – 6:15 AM (Must be available to train on Days, 5:30 AM – 6:15 PM)
The Maintenance Technician installs, troubleshoots, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures and pneumatic/electrical systems in the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Minor maintenance of equipment
- Responsible for working with outside contractors who are called in to do repair or maintenance.
- Lay out, install, adjust and maintain a variety of electrical equipment such as wiring, motors, switches, switchboards, PLCs and electrical mechanisms.
- Diagnose and remedy any electrical trouble quickly to avoid shut-downs
- Diagnose and remedy trouble, determine necessary repairs, tear down and reassemble machines.
- Perform repair of machinery under direction of Maintenance Supervisor.
- Troubleshoot potential problems before machinery incurs additional expenses or production downtime.
- Inspect machinery at regular intervals.
- Assist in installation of new equipment as necessary.
- Perform other assigned task as directed.
Education and/or Experience
- Associates degree in a technical discipline; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to work from drawings, manufacturer specifications and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to use common precision measurement gages and equipment.
- Proven knowledge of two or more specific maintenance trades such as electrical, mechanical, etc.
- Technical knowledge or automated production machine equipment and maintenance required.
- Experience with slitting and coating process preferable.
- Must be capable of working flexible hours to accommodate 24/7 manufacturing operations, including weekends, and on-call requirements.
- Reasoning ability – the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but variables in standardized situations. Ability to work independently and take appropriate corrective action when minor problems arise.
