Description

Job Scope & Summary

 

The Marketing Lead is responsible for supporting the strategic direction and execution of marketing initiatives to support Workplace Resource business goals of market growth, brand recognition, and client engagement. The Marketing Lead works closely with internal teams, industry partners, and clients to ensure that marketing efforts effectively tell the dealership’s story while elevating the customer and user experience. Additionally, this role oversees marketing operations and resource allocation to maintain high-quality deliverables and meet organizational objectives.

 

Essential Responsibilities

 

Strategic Marketing Leadership

· Support the execution of the annual marketing strategy.

· Drive the strategic telling of the dealership’s story by creating consistent and impactful messaging that highlights its core values and differentiators.

· Oversee and coordinate the creation and execution of digital, social media, and external communication strategies to connect with target audiences and strengthen brand positioning.

· Meet metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns

Graphic Design

· Create visually compelling assets such as brochures, flyers, social media graphics, email templates, and advertisements to support campaigns and initiatives.

· Partner with marketing, sales, and design teams to develop visuals that communicate key messages effectively and support business goals.

· Contribute creative ideas and solutions to enhance the visual appeal and effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

· Analyze the performance of graphic assets in campaigns and iterate designs to improve engagement and outcomes.

RFP Management & Business Development Support

· Support and delegate required deliverables for the RFP (Request for Proposal) pipeline, ensuring timely and high-quality responses tailored to client needs and business objectives.

· Collaborate with team members to craft visually compelling and customized proposals that connect the dealership’s offerings to client goals.

Team & Resource Management

· Lead the marketing team by managing work pipelines, setting priorities, and ensuring quality deliverables that meet both internal and external deadlines.

· Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales and design, to align marketing efforts with broader organizational goals.

Digital & External Communications

· Ensure the timely execution of digital marketing campaigns, including website updates, email marketing, and social media initiatives.

· Ensure all external communications reflect the dealership’s values, tone, and messaging to maintain brand consistency.

Qualifications & Skills

· Proven experience in marketing leadership, preferably within the contract furniture, architecture, design, or related industries.

· Strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies and customer journey mapping.

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations.

· Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and graphic design software.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.

· Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

· Knowledge of showroom operations and customer experience design is a plus.

The Qualifications and/or Experience

 

The preferred candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree (B. A. or B. S.) from an accredited college or university; or a minimum of 5 years in a marketing, sales support, or administrative role.

· Communicating effectively by interacting in a clear and compelling way that builds understanding and commitment with a wide range of people, both within and outside the company.

· Exceptional organizational skills.

· Proven leadership skills, assertive, self-confident, self-starter, as well as have the ability to work independently with little to no supervision.

· Ability to exercise discretion and judgment in administering policies and procedures.

· Demonstrating integrity and trust by acting ethically and gaining the trust and respect of others

· Ability to coordinate, plan, organize or manage multiple responsibilities and high-volume workload effectively with speed and accuracy. Achieving results by driving issues to closure and getting the job done on time.

· Demonstrating teamwork and collaboration by building and sustaining productive working relationships across a diverse spectrum of people.

· Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability by being able to change course swiftly and purposefully when the needs of the business change.

· Works effectively and proficiently with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Teams within a Windows environment.

· Experience in Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

· Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations.

 

Work Environment and Physical/Mental Demands

 

The position requires working typically in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as office phone/smartphone, computer/laptop/computer keyboard/mouse, photocopiers, filing cabinets and printers. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to visit and move around at construction and other customer/work sites, wearing appropriate safety protective gear. Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 10 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 25 lbs. Ability to work with numbers, research complex issues and resolve problems. Requires more advanced mathematical skills in order to understand spatial requirements and in doing bids. Must be able to read and comprehend complex written material, as well as ability to analyze, compare, evaluate, reconcile, and order data.
