REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Enrolled in the Oregon Criminal Registry
- Customer service a must to work directly with parents, community partners, and management daily.
PREFERENCES:
- Minimum 6 months experience working in a certified childcare center
- Experience developing curriculum for Early Childhood Education
- Maintain all required state of Oregon certifications for Teacher in accordance to OAR 414-300-0100
- STEP 10 or above on the Oregon Registry Steps
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist the classroom teacher with teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
- Clean and sanitize assigned classroom tables, chairs and changing stations with approved provided cleaner/sanitizing solution.
- Change and wash bed linen as appropriate when soiled.
- Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play.
- Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
SCHEDULE:
- Monday-Friday
- Shifts changes daily depending on who is covered. 8 hour shifts anytime between 6am and 6pm (must be willing to work until 6pm).
Salary : $22 - $23
