Currently, we have a BSA Operations Officer opportunity with a California-chartered, full-service commercial non-member bank. This bank provides deposit and loan products, including commercial real estate, commercial and industrial, and SBA loans, as well as related banking services. The bank's targeted client base includes executives, professionals, and small-to-medium-sized businesses, primarily in the Southern California area. The BSA Operations Officer is responsible for the specific duties listed below.Your specific duties will include : Assisting the BSA Officer in preparing for regulatory examinations and independent audits. Assisting in compliance with 314(a) research. Reviewing alerts to detect suspicious patterns and activity. Performing the 90-day tolerance review. Conducting the annual periodic review for high-risk accounts. Reviewing the supporting documentation for MSB accounts. Reviewing employees' account activities. Fully complying with all bank policies and procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Code of Conduct, etc.). Completing all required training.Specific qualifications for the position include : Must possess a good computer, written, and oral communication skills. Well-organized, analytical, and capable of multitasking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BSA compliance or closely related functions. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field of business or finance, or equivalent experience, is preferred.Pay Rate Range : $53,000 - $83,000 per yearCompensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
