What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Operations Specialist position at Workway?

The Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for general loan operations-related duties related to closing and servicing loans. This includes document tracking items after booking through payoff status, imaging loan documents, working daily loan operational reports, booking and payoff processing, and servicing loans.
Your specific duties will include:
- Preparing loan documents using LaserPro.
- Booking new loans.
- Updating exception tracking items in the core system and uploading them to the document imaging system.
- Scanning and indexing loan documents.
- Working on daily Loan Operations reports.
- Managing the UCC exception report.
- Processing paid loan files, including preparing the release of collateral.
- Posting incoming loan wires.
- Communicating with Loan Officers and Underwriting regarding inaccurate or missing documentation.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
- High School diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in loan operations and knowledge of Jack Henry Silverlake or FIS IBS system plus.
Pay Rate Range: $65.00 per hour
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
