The Title Assistant is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
- Assisting and working directly with title examiners to produce professional, error-free, and timely title insurance products.
- Setting up new orders, ordering and sending out tax certificates, and assisting with product revisions.
- Supporting internal and external customers in maintaining title products, including Ownership and Encumbrance (O&E) reports.
- Preparing and updating revised title products, including distributing additional documents, tax certificates, and other relevant materials.
- Meeting deadlines in a timely manner, communicating any potential delays, and providing accurate delivery estimates.
- Answering departmental phone calls, assisting clients directly, or routing calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Previous experience in title production or a related real estate support function.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a commitment to accuracy and professionalism.
- Proficiency with TitlePoint and familiarity with common title documentation and terminology.
- Ability to handle high volumes of work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative team structure, providing and receiving direction.
