- Reviewing and clearing purchase and refinance transactions for residential real estate.
- Examining abstracts, leases, contracts, and legal documents to determine title insurance and legal issues.
- Working directly with title agencies, clients, and attorneys to clear title exceptions and prepare for closing.
- Preparing and/or reviewing Owner and Loan Policies for appropriate exceptions.
- Processing and verifying title bills and invoices.
- Managing high volumes of residential real estate transaction files nationwide.
- 5 years of Title Curative/Title Clearance experience (Required).
- Experience handling residential real estate title files nationwide, including New York (Required).
- Proficiency with SoftPro Select (Preferred).
- Bachelor's degree (Preferred).
- Knowledge of surveys, survey readings, real estate taxes, recordings, and escrows.
