Currently, we have a Workers' Compensation Discovery Paralegal opportunity for a well-established Law Firm in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The Workers' Compensation Discovery Paralegal is responsible for the below specific duties.
Your specific duties will include :
- Responding to discovery requests, including drafting objections and creating privilege logs.
- Drafting outgoing supplemental discovery requests and tracking responses.
- Creating and updating timelines and chronologies from medical records.
- Requesting medical records and tracking responses.
- Drafting correspondence to clients and opposing parties.
- E-filing documents through the eJCC portal, including Petitions for Benefits.
- Preparing and editing "merge" forms from case management software, including motions.
Specific qualifications for the position include :
Pay Rate Range : $60,000 to $75,000 annually, based on experience.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
