The Senior Web Developer will be responsible for front-end development and maintenance of web experiences to help drive World's marketing and customer-experience initiatives. As part of the Marketing team, this role will be pivotal in bridging the gap between web design and development, ensuring our web applications are both visually appealing and functionally robust. You will lead front-end development efforts, contribute to design discussions, and maintain a consistent user experience across our digital platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Build and maintain public / customer-facing experiences and user interfaces across all facets of World's online presence (e.g. marketing website, mobile app, careers site, customer account management app, etc.).
- Work alongside other Marketing team members to create and implement engaging web designs that improve user experience, SEO, and conversion rate goals.
- Contribute to design discussions, providing feedback on usability and feasibility from a development perspective.
- Utilize design tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe, etc.) to understand and implement designs accurately.
- Collaborate with the IT architecture, engineering and development teams to ensure solutions are performant and scalable.
- Track performance and implement optimization strategies.
