Data Analytics Manager

The Data Analytics Manager will be an integral member of the Analytics team by enabling supported departments to tell a story with their data. To do this, a successful Data Analytics Manager will need to have a deep understanding of data structures, data integrity, and querying as well as the business need underlying the request. In contrast to a Technical or IT Business Analyst position, this Data Analytics Manager will need to understand the operational processes and problems, examine and structure the available data to provide insight, ensure accuracy of data, develop reports, and act as a partner to drive business strategy enhancements. The Marketing Strategy Analyst will also serve as a liaison with other internal departments in the role and use of data in business decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Develop and automate processes to ensure the accurate and timely exchange of information between business units as well as external partners.
• Leverage SQL to create and maintain reporting designed to understand business performance and drive success.
• Act as a strategy partner making data-driven decisions that increase return on investment, identify areas of opportunity, reduce portfolio risk, and foster mutually beneficial relationships between business units as well as external partners.
• Develop KPIs to help monitor performance across diverse business groups.
• Organize and standardize data for long-term storage and analysis.
• Analyze results and provide insights into how key metrics are impacting the business, with a focus on creating actionable takeaways for other business units to learn from.
• Provide ad hoc reporting as needed for internal and external partners.
