Income Potential
- $100K per year based on experience and productivity
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and rebuild automatic and manual transmissions
- Perform transmission removals, installations, and overhauls efficiently
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot transmission-related issues
- Conduct system tests to verify repairs and ensure optimal performance
- Follow factory-recommended repair procedures and guidelines
- Inspect and replace worn or damaged transmission components
- Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs and services performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Stay up to date with Ford transmission technologies and service bulletins
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of transmission repair experience (Ford experience preferred)
- ASE or manufacturer certifications highly desirable
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
