Job Summary
The Part-Time Human Resources Generalist role (25 hours per week, with the option to transition to full-time) will oversee various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and policy implementation. This position plays a vital role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring HR processes operate efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Administer and oversee performance management processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage payroll activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance on FMLA policies and procedures, assisting employees with their leave requests.
- Collaborate on organization design initiatives to optimize workforce structure and efficiency.
- Support succession planning efforts by identifying talent and developing career pathways for employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems such as Ceridian, iCIMS, Workday, or Taleo.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct administrative tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in human resources roles with a focus on performance management and payroll administration.
- Familiarity with FMLA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in HR software systems such as Ceridian, iCIMS, Workday, or Taleo is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
