World Finer Foods has an immediate opening for an Assistant Marketing Manager on the Specialty Brands Marketing Team. The successful candidate will have a service-oriented mindset combined with strong project management, analytical, communication and influencing skills.
Job Description :
The Assistant Marketing Manager is an entry-level role that offers the opportunity to begin a career in
consumer packaged goods (CPG), kicking off an exciting career path in brand management. The successful candidate will be mentored by senior members of the
marketing department to effectively learn systems, processes and the Specialty Foods industry.
The Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting senior members of the team by helping to manage or directly managing a portfolio of brands including but not limited to the following functions :
Developing and executing profitable trade sales and marketing programsCreating and implementing action plans by analyzing :
PricingPromotionsChannel strategyConsumer and customer sales dataCompetitorsGeographic penetrationMarket / category trends
Managing expenses against budgetBuilding retail presentations to support sales team callsProviding regular reporting to brand owners (internal or external) to show progress against planPartnering with sales and purchasing teams to deliver accurate demand forecastsSkills and Experience :
Individual should be able to work both autonomously and in a team environmentStrong written and verbal communication abilities, attention to detail, problem solving skills, and analytic skills are necessaryThe successful candidate will be comfortable working in an ever-evolving environment and will bring a positive attitude to the team
Requirements :
- Exceptional time management, project management, and organizational skills
- Strong computer (Microsoft Office Suite) and analytic skills
- Comfortable interpreting, manipulating and analyzing data from a variety of sources
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 10%

Position reports to a senior member of the marketing team. The position is full-time, exempt, hybrid (in-office 3x per week) located in Bloomfield, New Jersey, and is available immediately.
