About This Role:
World Distribution Services (WDS), a World Group Company, is currently looking for a dedicated person to join our family as a Logistics Coordinator for our growing warehouse operation in Linden, New Jersey!
The Logistics Coordinator will plan and coordinate the movement of customers’ goods and merchandise through the facility and provide customer service to both internal and external customers. Does this sound like you or fit your experience? Get in touch with us by applying here.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, receive and process orders, create and distribute documentation
- Input data into Warehouse Management System, distributing documentation accordingly
- Provide proactive customer service and support facility operations
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Ensure all customer concerns are handled timely and accurately
- Accurately invoice all files
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or 3PL experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer first attitude
- Strong team player
- Experience with warehouse management systems helpful

- Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment
- Occasionally position self to move materials in the warehouse up to 25lbs
- Ability to occasionally reach overhead to secure office equipment & supplies
Working Conditions:
Primarily office environment with occasional time inside the warehouse environment.
