Area Representative
Duties:
- Recruit and select host families for international students
- Educate host families about program guidelines and expectations
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to host families throughout the student's stay
- Conduct orientations and trainings for host families
- Coordinate and facilitate cultural exchange activities for students and host families
- Act as a liaison between the student, host family, and the program organization
- Monitor the well-being and academic progress of students
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise between the student and host family
Requirements:
- Experience working with students or in a social work capacity is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
