World Kia Joliet is now hiring a Receptionist / Cashier.
This position usually leads to growth within the company and a new position with more responsibility and financial opportunity.
10am-6pm with one weekly evening shift 1 Saturday per month.
We are searching for a motivated Receptionist/Cashier who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills.
Responsibilities: :
- Operate switchboard telephone system.
- Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold.
- Provide basic information to callers who have general inquiries.
- Filing
- Be friendly, professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees.
- Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket.
- Work with department managers to keep abreast of new products and services offered by the dealership and any changes in price.
What we are looking for:
- You must have a friendly voice on the phone and have experience dealing with guests.
- Ability to file alphabetically.
- Proficiency with computers and strong typing skills.
- Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
- Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
- Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
- We prefer dealership experience but will train the right candidate.

Evening and various shifts required including some Saturday hours.
