As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional experiences for our guests by providing high-quality service, expertly crafted drinks, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, bussing tables, and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash and credit card payments responsibly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer inquiries regarding food pairings or menu items.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist in placing orders for bar supplies.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage preparation.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to upsell products effectively to increase sales.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience in the food industry is preferred, with a background in culinary arts being a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
