Delivery Functions:
- Leads assessments, audits, and gap analyses to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
- Develops and presents comprehensive recommendations and strategies to clients.
- Manages delivery of Zero Trust security engagements, security projects, including scope definition, associated workflows, resource allocation, project delivery, and creation of deliverables and artifacts.
- Designs and implements security solutions.
- Conducts security architecture reviews and provides technical guidance on best practices.
- Serves as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their requirements and aligning solutions with their business goals.
- Communicates complex security concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Uses data visualization skills, charts, and other data models to bring analysis to life
- Works independently and collaboratively with a project team or partner across the enterprise to bring the best to our clients
- Performs analyses to define, confirm or quantify client business problems.
- Supports implementation of designed solutions to achieve project-defined business impacts.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a related role, with a focus on delivering security solutions and thought leadership to clients
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and leading practices.
- A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in a related field required
- A minimum of 7 years' progressive experience in a related field preferred
- Communication: Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills to convey security concepts and recommendations
- Writing: Ability to create formal, professionally written customer-delivered documents and presentation materials
- Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate teams and manage client relationships effectively
- Able to deliver engagements with limited direction, and lead engagements without detailed oversight

Position Overview:
As a cybersecurity consultant specializing in Zero Trust, you will design and implement Zero Trust strategies tailored to client needs across multiple industry verticals, integrating identity management, network segmentation, and continuous monitoring. You will conduct risk assessments, provide expert recommendations, and develop policies aligned with Zero Trust principles. Your role includes ensuring regulatory, overseeing solution integration, and supporting incident response efforts. Additionally, you will educate client teams on Zero Trust concepts and continuously update strategies to address emerging threats and enhance security posture.
The ideal candidate will have consulting experience and working knowledge in at least five key areas, including Zero Trust Architectures, the CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model, Network Segmentation, Operational Technologies, Threat and Vulnerability Management, and Security Tools Rationalization. Additional expertise in Data Protection and Privacy, Security Operations, Identity and Access Management, Network and Systems Security, and Cloud Security is also valuable. This diverse background will enable the candidate to effectively address a range of security challenges and provide comprehensive enterprise consulting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Zero Trust security strategies and solutions tailored to the client's specific needs and environment. Ensure alignment with industry-leading practices and organizational goals.
- Develop and deploy Zero Trust architectures, including the integration of identity and access management, network segmentation, and continuous monitoring solutions.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats within the client's infrastructure. Implement Zero Trust principles to mitigate these risks effectively.
- Advise clients on best practices for Zero Trust implementation, providing tailored recommendations based on their existing security posture and business requirements. Provide guidance regarding prioritization of Zero Trust evolution for identified Protect Surfaces.
- Help clients develop and enforce security policies and procedures aligned with Zero Trust principles. Ensure policies cover aspects such as least privilege access and micro-segmentation.
- Ensure that Zero Trust implementations meet relevant compliance requirements and regulatory standards. Assist clients with audits and maintain adherence to security frameworks and standards (including PCI, CMMC, HIPAA, ISO, and others).
- Oversee the integration of Zero Trust solutions with existing IT and security infrastructure. Manage the deployment process to ensure seamless implementation.
- Support clients in responding to security incidents by applying Zero Trust principles to investigate and mitigate breaches. Develop and refine incident response plans.
- Educate client teams on Zero Trust concepts and best practices. Develop training materials and conduct workshops to enhance understanding and adoption.
