What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Engineer position at World Wide Technology?
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance prior to start date with Leidos. (US Citizenship required)
Experience building, configuring, patching and maintaining Windows and Linux servers
Experience planning and executing the integration of services and appliances into Azure or other secure IaaS environments
Thorough understanding and experience with Azure Cloud services
Knowledge of basic networking and network protocols (e.g., TCP / IP, routing, firewalls, SSH, VPNs)
Hands-on experience reviewing and analyzing system logs and events to resolve issues
Experience developing and providing solutions to complex technical issues and problems that impact development, test and production environments
Experience implementing and maintaining Entra ID and / or Microsoft Active Directory environments
Experience documenting standard operating procedures or other documentation to assist operations teams or end users
Experience developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC), utilizing continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) tools, and leveraging automation platforms such as Ansible or Azure Functions
Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA
Ability to work effectively within a distributed technical team, aided by strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence
Ability to obtain IAT Level II (or higher) Certification such as Security or CISSP within 60 days after start date of assignment. Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience
