Window Cleaner Job Description

Objective: This position is responsible for executing the daily assigned tasks as required by World Window Wide Window Cleaning, Inc., which includes ground work and hanging. High Rise Window Cleaners are expected to perform work duties above ground, up to and including suspended work at 48 stories in height, as well as watching ropes for other workers.

Responsibilities:

• Observe, understand and adhere to all World Wide Window Cleaning, Inc. procedural

Guidelines and safety standards.

• Resolve any and all incomplete tasks as required by Management.
• Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment immediately to the onsite

Supervisor.

• Report any problems relating to an account or job site.
• Required to maintain company issued equipment in a safe and proper working condition.
• Must communicate and be proactive to ensure that the company’s best interests are being met (i.e. report problems, theft, safety issues, new business, etc).
• Maintain at all times a professional image and demeanor as a representative of World

Wide Window Cleaning, Inc.

Reports to: This position reports directly to the Field Supervisor.

Qualifications: High School diploma or GED required. Good written and oral communication skills. A valid drivers’ license. Excellent physical condition due to the demands of the job such as but not limited to the ability to: Carry 50 pounds, continually extending arms to the side and above head to reach windows by pole or squeegee, being able to squeeze the descent device multiple times a day, tie knots (rope manipulation), climbing ladders, ability to pull ropes up sides of buildings, working on knees & standing from kneeled position, crawling under or stepping over pipes, unafraid of heights.

Special Requirements: All Window Cleaners are responsible for the timely response to any and all World Wide Window Cleaning, Inc. service related problems or complaints. Usual hours are: Monday thru Friday 7am to 4pm, and Saturdays 7am to 4pm if needed. Field Supervisors are also on-call as needed.

Enforcement/Disciplinary Clause: World Wide Window Cleaning does not have a formal progressive discipline policy requiring a set number of warnings or counseling sessions when employees engage in workplace misconduct. Instead, every situation is considered based on its own facts, and immediate termination may be appropriate depending on the facts. This statement of World Wide Window Cleaning expectations regarding employee conduct does not alter or limit World Wide Window Cleaning policy of employment at will. World Wide Window Cleaning may terminate the employment relationship at any time with or without advance notice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
