We are seeking a Layer 3 Campus / SD-WAN Network Engineer to join our Network Security team.

Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and manage SD-WAN and network-edge solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and security of enterprise network services.
• Configure and maintain Layer 3 dynamic routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) to optimize network performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SD-WAN solutions with on-premises infrastructure and public-cloud providers.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex network issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in SD-WAN and networking technologies.
• Participate in on-call support rotation and respond to network emergencies as needed.

Requirements or Required Skills/Abilities:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on SD-WAN and Layer 3 dynamic routing protocols.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with architecting and deploying SD-WAN solutions from leading vendors (e.g., Cisco Viptela, Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN, Fortinet Secure SD-WAN).
• Strong understanding of public cloud networking (e.g. AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with digital edge networking (e.g. Equinix, Megaport) and software-defined cloud interconnects.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Familiarity with network security concepts and technologies, including VPNs, firewalls, and access control.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, ACSDX, AWS advanced networking specialist, or equivalent are preferred.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, NetFlow).

Education and/or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
