Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Workday Integration Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Workday and other systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality across platforms. You will play a key role in supporting business operations by ensuring the efficient operation of Workday integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Integration Development: Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, Workday APIs, and other integration tools.
- System Analysis: Work closely with business stakeholders, HRIS teams, and IT teams to understand requirements, analyze systems, and develop solutions that align with business needs.
- Maintenance & Support: Monitor and maintain existing integrations to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Enhancements: Proactively identify opportunities for integration enhancements and upgrades to improve efficiency and functionality.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of integration designs, configurations, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure integrations comply with data security standards, privacy policies, and industry best practices.
- Collaboration: Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions and vice versa.
- Reports: Create Workday reports and dash boards to help give insight into the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Workday integration tools (Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Workday data models, reporting, and security framework.
- Experience with web services (SOAP, REST), XML, XSLT, and other data transformation tools.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python) for custom solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Workday Integration Certification.
- Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft).
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Pay Range
