WORLDWIDE AIRCRAFT SERVICES PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATION STATEMENT:

POSITION PURPOSE:
· The Quality Control Generalist provides administrative support services to the Worldwide Aircraft Services Quality Control department along with the ensure effective and accurate billing of all Work Orders is achieved.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
· The Quality Control Generalist is responsible to the Chief Inspector/ General Manager to ensure that our Repair Station operations are in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- In addition, specific responsibilities are as follows:
- Daily audit of all work orders:
- Checking labor hours against quoted hours for accuracy.
- Checking that signoffs are complete on the individual work order items.
- Audit parts allocations by checking each individual item and making sure parts are documented appropriately.
- Checking work order for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist the Quality Control Department as follows:
- Analyze and obtain data to provide information to inspectors, customers, mechanics and parts room personnel.
- Verify aircraft/engine/propeller hours and cycles for accuracy. Maintain aircraft logbooks and associated forms in an accurate and up-to-date condition, which may include:
- perform clerical duties such as filing and preparing reports
- preparing correspondence with customers, vendors, and FAA personnel as required
- Update aircraft/engine/propeller logbooks and associated aircraft records for maintenance and/ or modifications performed.
- Maintain and update project files by collecting and filing all vendor, purchase order documentation, repair or overhaul paperwork.
- Prepare inspection work packages for incoming projects
- Assure that periodic checks are complied with on all inspection tools and the calibration status of precision equipment used by the repair station. Further assure that current records of those inspections and tests are maintained per the WASI Repair Station Manual.
- Assist in the assurance that applicable manuals in the Technical Library are currently revised. Maintain online technical manual libraries as needed.
- Track and maintain employee training files, to include updating of training materials and notifications to employees of required trainings to be completed.
- Perform semiannual internal audit of the Repair Station per the WASI Repair Station Manual to ensure all departments are following proper procedures and provide report to the General Manager.
- Audit of completed project work packages to confirm completion and accuracy of information.
- Prepare labor reports as assigned to ascertain efficiency of the workforce.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Inspector and/or General Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School or equivalent education.
· Minimum 2 years experience in an administrative / clerical environment.
· Previous experience in a 145 Certificated Repair Station desirable.
· Understanding of maintenance software system.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
· Work typically performed in an office environment. However, due to work requirements, may require frequent travel which will involve exposure to noise, chemicals, adverse temperatures and other similar hazards.
