The Supervisor of Accounts Receivable oversees customer inquiries, dispute resolution and client support. They must be self-motivated and directed at establishing each day’s agenda per workflow and developing situations. The candidate must be able to analyze problems and clearly articulate points using both phone and email, while escalating to leadership as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee team of Cash Application and ensure staff is meeting production goals, complying with company standards and federal collection laws
- Provide weekly updates on Cash Application postings and goals
- Support team members with Cash Application activities in challenging cases
- Assist Manager with process improvements and needed changes within the department
- Cross train to ensure effective Operations for supervisory staff and team leads
- Provides communication and training for new procedures and/or new team members
- Various other tasks, as needed
- The ability to use a phone, computer, printer, and copier is required.
- Frequent use of Microsoft office products, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to use the internet and various web browser software is required.
- 1-3 years’ accounts receivable experience and Cash Application related work experience.
- One (1) year of previous leadership experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office programs is required.
- Detail and problem-solving skills are required
- Must be organized, detail oriented, possess a sense of urgency and can be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to multitask, learn quickly and adapt to change easily.
- Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Must be able to work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision.
- Freight experience is a plus.
- Secure knowledge of debits and credits required.
- Team player mentality.
- Ability to take a leadership role in the department, helping to assist and direct other less-experienced analysts when questions or requests are made
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment required.
