The classification of Ramp Supervisor includes managing, coordinating and controlling airport activities for the Ramp Services functions; monitors the quantity and quality of work performance; directing personnel within assigned functional area; overseeing and advising on staffing requirements; participating in the discipline, coaching, counseling, hiring and termination of subordinates; training subordinates, ensures compliance with Company rules and regulations, Company standards and contractual agreements; ensures budgetary controls and manning requirements.

Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of airport operations, including ticketing transactions, baggage check-in, issuing boarding passes, and dispatching flights in a safe and timely manner.
- May also be responsible for baggage service functions of filing loss, damage, and pilferage claims.
- Offers efficient and professional customer service and resolves passenger problems as required.
- Coordinates with all departments to ensure operational needs are met, including catering, fueling, and maintenance companies.
- Acts as company representative when assigned.
- Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment.
- Ability to handle stress. Work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
