We are looking for an enthusiastic leader to join our Indianapolis International Airport team! .
Airline Ramp Supervisor: (Supervisor and/or Ramp experience preferred)
- Work with employees on the ramp to insure a safe and on time operation.
- Managing, coordinating and controlling airport activities for Ramp Services functions.
- Monitors the quantity and quality of work performance; directing personnel within assigned functional area.
- Overseeing and advising on staffing requirements. participating in the discipline, coaching, counseling.
- The scope of the job may vary with the size of the operation and its primary line of business.
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment.
- Ability to handle stress. Work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Work in a high noise level environment.
