Job Summary
Responsibilities will include communicating company and position details to new hires prior to their start date. This entails ensuring new hires have completed all pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding paperwork such as Section 1 of I-9 forms, acknowledging company policies and procedures, and more. The recruiting coordinator will also work closely with the Recruiting Specialist and Facilities Administrative team to coordinate fingerprinting and training for new hires and communicate with new hires at each step of the process. Ultimately, you will organize and facilitate our company's hiring and onboarding procedures for new hires.
Responsibilities
- As Badging signatory, serve as primary liaison between the station and TSA badging office, assigning and tracking appointments for all applicants and existing employees including explaining badging requirements and assisting with documentation requirements.
- Assists in TSA mandatory yearly and biannual badging audits and all unannounced random audits at the station.
- Prepares and maintains a variety of records and reports.
- Performs other duties and related tasks as required and assigned.
- Communicate regularly to new hires information about onboarding requirements; including next steps in the hiring process.
- Track in detail new hire progress to ensure all pre-employment activities have been completed in a timely manner to ensure a smooth hiring process.
- Coordinate frequently with Recruiting, Operations and Training to ensure pipeline of new hires is fully ready for hire on day one.
- Initiate virtual offers of employment for the Express Line of Business.
- Be a resource for new hires during their onboarding and be able to direct them to the appropriate departments for questions related to benefits, payroll, etc.
