Are you a hands-on problem-solver with a knack for keeping things running smoothly?
We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Worldwide Foam in LaPorte! In this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making repairs.
Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm mostly, with flexibility as needed
Pay range: $25.50 - $29.00 depending on qualifications and experience (paid weekly)
What You'll Do:
- Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment, machinery, and systems.
- Maintain detailed records of your work.
- Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
- Repair or replace parts in various systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment (indoors and outdoors).
You're a great fit if you have:
- 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Technical or vocational training in a maintenance-related field.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, scissor lifts, and forklifts.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
