We are adding a Provider Finance Specialist to the Global Networks team! The Provider Finance Specialist is responsible for timely resolution of contracted claims and financial inquiries from providers, facilities, and vendors. This position ensures accuracy of bank account information and direction of international payments, as well as other duties, as assigned.
Responsibilities :
Researches and resolves escalated claims issues reported by contracted providers and facilities.
Works effectively with colleagues in Claims, Finance, the Global Service Center, and
Provider Relations to investigate and resolve provider claims issues.
Maintains caseload of escalated claim activity via Salesforce.
Prioritizes work appropriately according to guidelines.
Adds and updates facility bank details for provider payments.
Builds and maintains relationships with contracted doctors and hospitals.
Collaborates with Provider Relations colleagues to provide additional training to
contracted Providers and Facilities, as required.
Other research projects as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree minimum or equivalent professional work experience.
Fluency in one or more foreign languages required, such as Portuguese, German, Japanese, or Italian (other languages will be considered).
Provider billing or claims experience required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and math skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of international currencies.
Ability to work effectively with international providers and internal staff.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
Extremely detail oriented.
Substantial international travel or expatriate experience preferred.
Knowledge of world geography and other cultures.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Familiarity with Salesforce and SharePoint a plus.
Experience with databases a plus.
Employee is required to have at minimum an internet speed of 75 Mbps (standard high speed internet access).
Working Conditions :
Flexibility to work in an office and / or at-home, remote office environment.
Overtime and / or schedule flexibility are occasionally necessary in this position. Individual may be required to attend key business / departmental meetings and / or perform certain business critical job functions outside of normal working hours.
Physical Demands : Must be able to communicate internally and externally through receiving and responding to auditory and visual methods.
Competitive base pay starting at $25.04 / hr. Compensation is based on prior / relevant experience and skill level in a similar role.
