This temporary, part-time role is based onsite at our Houston, TX 77041 location.
Position Summary
In this role, you will provide essential support to the HR Manager, assisting with administrative tasks, recruitment coordination, employee records management, and other HR-related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruiting efforts, including prescreening candidates and rescheduling interviews.
- Support benefits administration by handling basic inquiries and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Respond to and resolve basic employee queries in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
- Assist with email management, ensuring timely responses and organization.
- Aid in the implementation of the HRIS system, including data entry and system testing.
- Assist in the rollout and coordination of employee development programs.
- Assist with wellness initiatives, social committee activities, and other HR projects.
Safety
- Reports all recognized unsafe conditions or acts to Management.
- Wears proper PPE when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, trade school or equivalent.
- Associate’s degree in human resources or a related field
- 1 year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
