This is a remote / rotational position, working two weeks on and two weeks off or three weeks on and three weeks off, in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided.

Job Purpose :
Install new electrical systems, equipment, wiring and controls in an existing brown field petrochemical environment.
Essential Job Functions :
- Assists Electrical Journeyman in setup and performance of job tasks.
- Assist Journeyman with maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation and construction of industrial electrical equipment and systems found in an industrial environment through the proper use of standard wire, conduit, cable tray, fittings and hardware commonly found in industrial plants.
- Assist Journeyman while learning to bend, cut, thread and install conduit.
- Assist in pulling MC-HL cable and installation.
- Help Journeyman install and terminate wiring.
- Learn applicable NEC codes that pertain to the all installations performed.
- Responsible for use and care for the tools and equipment commonly employed in industrial construction such as hydraulic / electric benders, knockout punch sets, cable puller, meggers, hi-pot equipment, volt meters, multi-testers and amp-meters and other electrical parts.
- Assist other crafts with general labor work.
- Participate in daily and weekly Toolbox meeting.
- Must be able to follow all company, client, safety and regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines as they relate to this position and the work duties being performed.
- Have adequate written and oral communications applicable to standards set by organization.
- Complete all ABC apprentice testing requirements.
- Routinely operate Worley / client light and / or medium duty vehicles.
- Safely climb ladders.

Physical Demands / Work Environment :
Work is performed in a remote Arctic environment with limited medical resources. Candidate understands the site is approximately 840 miles (at least 4 hours by air ambulance) from surgical, specialist, and tertiary medical care, and where medical evacuation from this location may be significantly delayed due to weather conditions.
