Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Package Handler to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving processes. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills to manage the flow of packages effectively.

Duties

• Load and unload packages from delivery trucks and containers efficiently.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate shipping and receiving records.
• Organize packages within the warehouse to facilitate easy access and retrieval.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Operate forklifts as needed for moving heavy items within the distribution center.
• Assist in inventory management by conducting regular checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is a plus.
• Ability to operate RF scanners for tracking inventory accurately.
• Experience operating forklifts is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided.
• Must be capable of heavy lifting, as the role involves handling packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• A commitment to maintaining safety standards in all aspects of work is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.77 per hour
