Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Strategic Partnerships to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in forging strategic partnerships and nurturing existing relationships to propel our company forward. Reporting to the CEO, the ideal candidate will be an expert communicator, strategic thinker, and passionate advocate for our company and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Relationship Management:
- Spearhead the identification and establishment of partnerships with organizations that align with our company’s products, services, and objectives.
- Serve as the escalation point for existing and new partners, developing and maintaining robust relationships.
- Engage regularly with partners and clients to review performance, understand their needs comprehensively, ensure their satisfaction, and review performance.
- Employ strategies to build and fortify client relationships, aiming for long-term partnerships.
- Keep precise client records, including documentation and CRM updates, tracking contract changes and renewals.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate closely with the executive team to develop and execute a cohesive Partner Relationship Management Strategy (PRMS).
- Establish clear goals, objectives, and KPIs for Partner Relationship Managers to drive success.
- Partner with Marketing and External Partner Marketing departments to initiate and manage customer expansion campaigns.
Partner Recruitment:
- Identify and vet potential partners that share our mission and values, adding value to our ecosystem.
- Institute a smooth onboarding process for new partners, making them well-acquainted with our company’s offerings and processes.
Communication and Reporting:
- Generate and present detailed reports on partnership status, performance metrics, and areas for enhancement through QBRs and monthly cadence standups.
- Address high-volume inquiries and requests efficiently, prioritizing partner against wotc.com ICP.
- Facilitate regular internal meetings to review progress and explore avenues for improvement.
Senior Leadership Tasks:
- As a key figure in the leadership team, contribute to high-level decision-making and strategy formulation.
- Champion the development and refinement of company policies and strategies that impact partner relations.
- Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5 years of proven experience in partner relationship management, business development, or a similar role within a leadership capacity.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic mindset, with a track record of achieving growth objectives and driving revenue through partnerships.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data to make informed decisions and drive strategy.
- Experience with scaling methods and tools is a plus.
