Position Overview:
The Tax Credit Administrator is responsible for managing tax credit programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing clients with the necessary support to maximize their tax credit benefits. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and clients, data management, and ensuring accurate and efficient processing of tax credit applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Credit Program Management: Administer and oversee various tax credit programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Client Support: Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation, provide guidance on eligibility requirements, and assist in optimizing their tax credit opportunities.
- Application Preparation: Prepare and submit tax credit applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness to maximize claims.
- Compliance & Reporting: Stay updated on changes in tax credit programs and related regulations to maintain compliance. Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory bodies.
- Data Management: Maintain detailed, accurate records of client interactions, documentation, and tax credit claims for internal and external audits.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to tax credit claims, working closely with clients and the tax team.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner with accounting, legal, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate tax credit filings.
Professional Requirements:
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Demonstrated experience managing and analyzing financial and payroll data.
- Familiarity with various payroll systems and processes to ensure accurate data management.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets, utilize pivot tables, and analyze large data sets.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain precise records of all financial transactions.
- A positive, proactive approach to work with a strong commitment to quality and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
