Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our wound care team, specializing in the assessment, management, and treatment of Sacral and upper extremity wounds. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing chronic and acute wounds, including venous ulcers, arterial ulcers in addition to Sacral and upper extremity wounds. Experience in application of amniotic membrane grafts is highly desirable. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and improve wound healing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluations of wounds would include size, depth, stage, and surrounding tissue to determine the appropriate treatment plan.
- Developing individualized care plans including wound debridement, amniotic graft application, dressing selection, topical medications, compression therapy, and other necessary interventions.
- Prescribing necessary medications for wound healing
- Provide detailed instructions for patients
- Regularly assess wound healing
Required Qualifications
- Nurse practitioner licensed in the state of Illinois
- Wound care certified
- Graft application experience preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $500,000.00 per year
