Responsibilities

Work as a member of a strong team to provide care for the comfort and well-being of patients.

Assist with patient rounding and documentation under the direct supervision and presence of the nurse practitioner.

Act as a scribe for provider

Interaction with patient and families

Support provider at the bedside

Prepare patient care list for the provider

Set up and prepare medical equipment and supplies

Other duties as assigned

Adheres to all HIPAA and company policies and procedures
Qualifications
Skills & Qualifications

Medical Assistant or CNA Certificate

Current BLS certification
-
Effective communication skills
-
Exceptional time management skills
-
Works efficiently and has a quick response time

Accurate and proper handling of patient information
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting or standing

Exert 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally and 10-20 lbs. frequently
