Responsibilities
- Contact patients upon referral and coordinate their visit by our mobile medical providers.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist patients with insurance verification and billing inquiries.
- Provide information about medical procedures, office policies, and services offered.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications in a professional manner.
- Ensure the medical office environment is welcoming, organized, and efficient.
Experience
- Previous experience in medical administrative support or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the office.
- Experience working in a medical office or similar healthcare setting is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
