How Your Role Fits In
As a Trainer at our Menasha Distribution Center, you are more than just a trainer – you’re an MVP of our team!
As the Operations Trainer you will be responsible for the training of warehouse staff primarily at the Menasha distribution center, as well as other DCs on an as needed basis. This position will focus on new hire training, training on all material handling equipment and attachments. The Trainer will ensure employees are trained to comply with all Company safety expectations and policies. When training is not needed, this position will support normal warehouse worker duties.
WOW Logistics is a drug Free Workplace, and the Trainer position is considered a safety-sensitive position.
What you’ll do:
- Training of all required safety topics (PPE, LOTO, Fire Prevention, Hazard Communication, etc.)
- 40 hours of MHE training for new employees, to include classroom and hands on instruction.
- Trainer will also be responsible for process related training on warehouse tasks.
- Document training records via the WOW Intranet and SharePoint.
- Assist DCM with BBS Observations as well as Safety and Training audits.
- Show a positive attitude and genuine interest in developing and mentoring new employees and ensuring their success
- Post-accident follow-up additional MHE training as needed
- Annual MHE Evaluations
- 3-year MHE Re-certifications
