WP Engine is looking for a talented Brand Creative Copywriter to craft compelling, audience-driven messaging that fuels brand awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping how WP Engine communicates its value across multiple channels and key audience segments, including mid-market and enterprise buyers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop persuasive, conversion-focused copy for demand generation campaigns, including digital ads, social media assets, landing pages, and email sequences.
• Partner with the creative director, demand generation, and the broader marketing teams to ensure messaging aligns with audience insights, campaign objectives, and brand strategy.
• Contribute to the ideation and execution of multi-channel brand campaigns, ensuring consistency in WP Engine’s tone of voice and positioning.
• Develop tailored messaging strategies for mid-market and enterprise segments, ensuring relevance and resonance with decision-makers in these audiences.
• Support customer retention and expansion efforts by crafting messaging for lifecycle marketing, upsell opportunities, and loyalty programs.
• Work closely with the segment marketing team to refine positioning and ensure copy is optimized for different audience personas, industries, and buying stages.
• Develop community-focused content that amplifies WP Engine’s values and strengthens engagement with key audiences.
• Collaborate with brand creative and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of copy and visual storytelling.
• Edit and refine messaging to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand guidelines, maintaining a high standard of creative excellence.
• Stay informed about audience trends, competitive positioning, and industry best practices to enhance campaign performance and effectiveness.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably within a SaaS, technology, or B2B marketing environment.
• Proven track record of crafting high-impact messaging for demand generation and performance-driven campaigns, with examples of measurable success.
• Strong storytelling abilities with the flexibility to adapt tone and style for different audience segments and marketing objectives.
• Experience writing for mid-market and enterprise buyers, understanding their unique needs, challenges, and decision-making processes.
• Experience writing across a variety of formats, including digital, social, email, and brand campaigns.
• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot), CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
• A passion for technology, creativity, and audience-first storytelling.

Base Salary Range

$76,000.00 - $114,000.00

We believe that compensation should be reflective of the impact you have within the organization relative to the market value of your role. The estimated base salary range for this position is as listed above. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Our salary ranges are determined by job role and responsibilities and level.
