About The Role
Critical purpose of role:
- To assist the recruitment team and HR Department with recruiting high calibre candidates in to our retail business
- Screening initial job applications, arranging interviews where necessary and managing the onboarding process for successful candidates for your designated vacancies
- Ensuring all candidates receive a world class recruitment process throughout
Main responsibilities:
- Operational responsibility for all Recruitment related activities, assisting Stakeholders with the recruitment of world class talent in to the business whilst managing Stakeholder expectations
- Assist with developing a fantastic employer brand to help attract the best talent
- Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, providing a world class experience for candidates
- Create vacancy adverts to be used on local and national job boards, as well as posting relevant social media content to assist with talent engagement and attraction
- Assist Stakeholders with writing job descriptions, screening applications, arranging interviews and offering structured feedback where necessary
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees, making sure each new starter receives a structured onboarding in to the business
- Assist with the creation of recruitment and networking events whilst attending recruitment events in the local area
- Taking ownership of recruitment activities for the business including locations across the North East of America
- Sourcing high calibre candidates for designated vacancies
- Completing weekly report on recruitment activities for the various corporate divisions including IT, customer cupport and transport.
About You
Desired Skills & Knowledge:
- At least 1 years experience within a Recruitment/ Resourcing role – either internally or agency
- Previous experience of using an Applicant Tracking System would be highly beneficial
- Excellent communication & presentation skills - both written and verbal
- Strong IT skills
- Friendly, approachable and self-motivated
- Proven self-starter, with the ability to deliver on targets without constant supervision
