Job Overview
We are seeking EXPERIANCED ONLY! we will not train, must know how yo run, splice and install fiber optic cable. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network installation, cabling, and fiber splicing. This role is essential in ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of fiber optic systems, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of our telecommunications infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Perform network installation and cabling for fiber optic systems.
- Execute fiber splicing tasks with precision to ensure optimal signal quality.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct testing of fiber optic connections using an Ohmmeter and other testing devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any network issues.
- Install and configure Modems, routers as part of the network setup.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Follow safety protocols and best practices while working on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in network installation and cabling.
- Strong knowledge related to telecommunications equipment.
- Familiarity with fiber splicing techniques and tools.
- Proficient in using hand tools relevant to the trade.
- Knowledge of Ethernet and telephone systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
